G2 round off DreamHack Open Valencia list

The Frenchmen in G2 are the last team to be invited to the Spanish event, DreamHack have announced.

Kévin "⁠Ex6TenZ⁠" Droolans and his men join HEROIC, AGO, North and Virtus.pro as the invited teams in the $100,000 prize pool tournament. The five teams will face off against each other and the three qualified teams Giants, Luminosity and Fragsters.

DreamHack Open Valencia will be the third event that the new lineup of G2 are attending. They are currently in Cologne for ESL One, where they have secured a playoff spot after beating MOUZ.

shox is finding his groove with Ex6TenZ after a 3 month injury hiatus

The French team are looking surprisingly strong at the moment, considering their current iteration have only been playing together for a little over a month, and the fact that Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon, Kévin "⁠Ex6TenZ⁠" Droolans and Edouard "⁠SmithZz⁠" Dubourdeaux all went months without playing before being announced as a squad in early June.

DreamHack Open Valencia 2018 will run from July 12-14th and take place in the Feria Valencia. With G2 as the last team on the list, the line up is as follows:

G2 is tier1 team, i was fan of previous line-up I have a hard decision what to do I always liked Liquid, even with toxic s1mple in roster, but i always prefer Frenchmen cause i'm their fan since Katowice 2015 (EnVy) I feel really bad cuz rapEX and NBKing were the guys i loved pretty much And i can't reconcile with that thing about Kenny doing moves behind Dan's back So what should i do? Call myself Liquid fanboy or be fine with new G2 roster and be fine with backstabbers shoxie and Kenny?

Why Giants ? Why Heroic? Why Faggsters? None of this teams deserve dreamhack spot and VP too. It's better to invite 3dmax, kinguin, windigo or other potentially top teams. Not trash like fragsters Going on every dh and sucking everywhere. Not vp, who ready to lose every tier 3-4 team. Not to Heroic with their unstable roster. Who the fuck are Giants? The only reason to invite Giants is their nationality, OK. Why not Movistar tho? AGO are tired after streaks of events. The reason of not good results is the time, they don't have to relax and to get ready for next event. Luminosity don't deserve spot, because can not even qualify on America Minor, so give that invite to NTC, or NRG, or coL. The only rising teams from France to go on that tournament are 3DMAX or LDLC. Also, every dreamhack we can see fckn North ruining other teams' chances. Why you let strong tier2 (or t1) team play against Faggsters or Giants? :D North's place must be taken by Imperial ofc. There is no teams deserve it, except G2 and maybe AGO. Let the better teams play on better events and let weaker teams play not against t1 teams. Let the people see fckn beautiful cs, with balanced groups and format. Why dh do not invite : NTC/Furia, Valiance, Kinguin, BIG, Renegades/coL/eunited, Gambit/Spirit, Imperial, Windigo? They are potentially better to perform on such events. OK, let us see G2 and north against tier4 and Heroic
