ESL One Cologne hits playoffs

We are now down to the final six teams in Cologne following the end of the group stage, with the tournament now moving on to the LANXESS Arena.

Natus Vincere and BIG secured the final spots in the single-elimination bracket after dispatching ENCE and MIBR, respectively, in close three-map series that went down to the wire.

Na`Vi will now be pitted against fnatic, while the German side will lock horns with G2, with the winners progressing to the semi-finals, where group winners Astralis and FaZe are lying in wait.

Na`Vi will open up the playoffs against fnatic

The playoff matches will be played in front of an audience at the prestigious LANXESS Arena and will culminate with the best-of-five final, on Sunday at 16:00 . The winner will take home $125,000 and a title counting towards the $1 million Intel Grand Slam prize, with FaZe currently leading the race with three tournament victories to their name.

Accurate af, Zeus and co are decent players but they need to get a little more hungry in regards to individual skills or at least do something to balance the scales against other teams a little better, a lot of times they're performances leave much to be desired. Might be because of S1mple's overall dominance against every other player in the world, but still they could do a lot better than they do right now.

I really want BIG to make it to the semis. It takes everything guys, to make your home crowd proud. Their skill isn't as exemplary as Astralis or FaZe but still.
