NRG qualify for StarSeries Season 6 over compLexity

NRG secured their spot at StarSeries i-League Season 6 with a 2-0 series win over Complexity in the North American qualifier (16-4 on Nuke and 16-7 on Inferno).

Complexity kicked off the first semi-final bout against TeamOne in a three-map series which saw the North Americans claim their spot in the grand final. Meanwhile, NRG cleaned up Swole Patrol in a slated 2-0 win, booking the remaining spot in the final.

The grand final began on Nuke, where NRG got off to a swift 3-0 start on their T-side, securing the pistol and the following anti-ecos. Complexity then put a dent in NRG's lead, but without hesitation, NRG got back into it and tacked on three rounds to make it 6-1.

Brehze paved the way on Nuke with a 2.22 rating

Complexity managed to make a little noise on their CT-side with a few rounds here and there, but not enough to rattle NRG's T-side, who secured a commanding 11-4 lead at halftime. Things didn't get any better for the red and black jerseys as Vincent "⁠Brehze⁠" Cayonte fired on all cylinders, winning five in a row to secure the 16-4 map victory and the series lead.

The series then landed on Inferno, which saw Peter "⁠stanislaw⁠" Jarguz and his men off to a smooth 3-0 start on the T-side before NRG rallied back as CTs with six straight. A lopsided round gave Complexity a break, but NRG didn't waste any time getting back into the thick of things, earning the next four out of five rounds to secure a 10-5 lead before halftime.

After the sides switched, NRG kept their foot on the gas to remain in control on their T-side, only giving up two rounds in the second half and sealing their 16-7 map win and the 2-0 series victory to qualify for the LAN finals of StarSeries i-League Season 6.

This is a forum where people can share their opinions about different topics. So I shared mine. I don't really care if Amil890 likes it, or nah. You are just a frustrated complexity fanboy, I checked, and you created one topic on HLTV, and even on that single one you had zero replies. Must hurt for sure, the team you are cheering for does not interest anyone. :(

Considering NRG has beaten Liquid and North on LAN, which aren't that great, and that Complexity's players haven't even made it to a LAN since they joined the team, I would say it is an obvious win for NRG on paper, and usually in reality.
