Igor "⁠lollipop21k⁠" Solodkov has been released from his contract with FlipSid3, the player has revealed on VK.com.

The announcement comes less than two weeks after the Belarusian player was placed on the transfer list by FlipSid3 as part of the North American organisation's plans to rebuild the team around Yegor "⁠markeloff⁠" Markelov and Jan "⁠wayLander⁠" Rahkonen.

A former member of GoodJob, lollipop21k had signed for FlipSid3 in April after the team had tried out multiple options since losing star player Denis "⁠electroNic⁠" Sharipov to Natus Vincere.

He did not attend a single LAN event with FlipSid3 but managed to impress online, averaging a 1.18 rating while playing under Andrey "⁠B1ad3⁠" Gorodenskiy, who was recently loaned out to Gambit to coach the Kazakhstani side.

With the 22-year-old's departure, FlipSid3 currently have:

Its so crazy to think about how he really was never able to be "good" in CS GO. I get everyone peaks in skill but I can't believe he couldn't even hold his skill level somewhat like edward or even zeus still do. I can only wonder what the guy thinks every day. He was basically the s1mple of 1.6 back then, but could have been 10x more wealthier from winnings if it was GO. Just unfortunate situation. I really hope he gets it back someday... he should just sticked to awping from beginning of csgo. or made decision earlier to go dedi awp again(yes he awped bit in hr), like 2015-2016. maybe shara time would been best time to pick up awp again but f3 died and he made decision too late. maybe with more time he could shined in f3 awp. afraid hes career is now done sadly. hope he gets team tho

I don't know anything about your laws, but here both sides have to agree to end a contract earlier (except one side violated the contract rules of course). A org can't just decide to release a player only because they don't want to pay him anymore.

Probably there are a lot of tier 2-3 CIS teams willing to offer him a contract but simply don't have the budget to pay any transfer fees to another org. So probably he asked to be released to go play on another team. I'd say F3 did him a favor by releasing him.

Then you don‘t know much about German laws lul. Not both sides have to agree to end a contract. You, as the worker or the company itself can end the contract to a certain date. Who knows if F3 immediately dropped him or maybe they told him to release him a few months ago and now it‘s over.

I know that i as a worker of a normal company with a usual work contract can end my contract considering deadlines which are usually stated in the contract. But contracts with orgs may differ a little, i'd like to compare them with contract-types of football (or any other similar team sport) where the players can't easily decide when to end their contracts without the clubs agreement (e.g. Lewandowski at Munich). I don't insist on being correct there, i am just considering some possibilities. You could be right aswell, we won't know for sure anyways.

Flipsid3 should have disbanded a long time ago. Markeloff and wayLander can't keep up with the pros lol. They're both bots in the "pro level" and belong in Tier 2 or 3 CSGO at best.

Legendary org Flamie, S1mple, electronic all comes from this team. Always able to make it into majors despite a severe lack of firepower. After selling electronic to NaVi this team just dived to the bottom, but I guess with the electronic money they can cash out and call it a day. I’d doubt they are insterested in rebuilding the team. To me it seems like they are trying to sell the players and recover some money before pulling out of csgo. It’s a good time for Markelon to retire. Not the best way, but not a bad way either. He just fades away, like old soldiers do.

I hope markeloff retires, if he continues on CSGO, it will only get worse. He was more dominant on the last 1.6 years, than s1mple is today. He was so superior than everyone else with the awp, it was just sick. Today when someone start the 'awp' subject, people always say "GuardiaN, FalleN and kennyS"... He said last 1.6 years. frod was out of the scene by 2007 with CGS and source, killed his career. Walle was washed up by 2006. Can’t commebt much on traces career, but he wasn’t shit compare to markeloff. Cogu was a beast, possibly best AWPer in the world in the early/mid 2000’s but we only saw him like twice a year so it was hard to tell. He became a shell of his former self after initially leaving MIBR in 2006. He was still a great player, but not the dominant one he was. Markeloff was insane in the ending era of 1.6. Dominant like none other before him except maybe ksharp in the early iterations of the game. That’s who we can compare markeloffs game to. Frod and cogu were insane in their own right especially frod for those 2 years on coL before CGS and are pretty close tbh. But markeloff is on a tier of his own with the awp in 1.6.

Really weird to keep these guys over lollipop, maybe you can have legend markeloff as your support but why u need waylander also, are they still planning to play markeloff as awp or what xd...
