Astralis secure EPICENTER invite

Astralis have been invited to compete at EPICENTER 2018, the event's organisers have announced.

The Danish giants are the second team confirmed for the event, following in the footsteps of Natus Vincere, who were unveiled last week.

Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander's troops finished in fourth place at last year's EPICENTER after losing to eventual champions SK in the semi-finals and then to G2 in the third-place decider.

Astralis confirmed at EPICENTER

Astralis are currently in London competing at the FACEIT Major. They went through the New Challengers Stage with a 3-1 record and will now lock horns with Na`Vi in the first round of the New Legends Stage, on Wednesday.

EPICENTER 2018 will run from October 23-28 at the Park of Legends Ice Palace, in Moscow. Five invitees will be joined by the leading sides of the wild card qualifier, one of whom will be determined based on the HLTV.org ranking.

Sigh.... A Wild Card invite doesnt mean a invite to the tournament. A wild card is basically a qualifier for Epicenter, lol. As you can see (i guess not) it says "Wild Card Qualifier #1" and "Wild Card Qualifier #2" And in that qualifier VP, Ence, Swole Patrol, and 1 CIS 1 Asia team will play: liquipedia.net/counterstrike/EPICENTER/2.. Dumbass.
