FACEIT Major 2018 viewer's guide

With the FACEIT Major's New Challengers Stage behind us, it is now time to focus on the main event, set to kick off tomorrow with 16 teams vying to become the next Major winner.

Twickenham Stadium will host the New Legends Stage before the action moves to the SSE Wembley Arena for the New Champions Stage, where the winner will claim its share of the $1 million prize pool and the rights to go down in the books as one of the select few to be crowned Major champions.

Following the New Challengers Stage, which saw teams like HellRaisers, Liquid, Ninjas in Pyjamas, or Astralis go through, the 16-team New Legends Stage will be played out in a Swiss-style group stage that will see the final eight move on to the New Champions Stage.

Astralis are one of the favorites to take it all

The New Champions Stage, which will start on September 20 after a three-day pause, will feature a single elimination bracket with the final eight teams competing in BO3 matches at the SSE Arena until only one is left alive and crowned champion, putting an end to this Major cycle.

Starting tomorrow, eight Challengers and eight Legends will face each other to kick off the final stages of the Major. There will be a break between the New Legends Stage and the Championship Stage as the action moves from Twickenham to the SSE Arena in Wembley. The full schedule is as follows:

I mean yeah. If you don't include the battle of Britain, when Germany tried to invade Britain and defended ourselves with only our air force the RAF. Damn, no Freya as an interviewer? I think she did great at the New Challengers stage. Not only is she cute but she really nailed most of the interviews - she asked intelligent questions that were on point, you could clearly see that she knows CS mechanics and she was into the games. No bullshit. I like Mantrousse so it's not that big of a deal for me but I really think that Freya did a great job. I prefer Pala over most annoying interviewer ever - Smix (ugh, I can't stand her).
