MIBR take OpTic's ESL Pro League license
MIBR will fill the vacant slot in the North American division of the ESL Pro League, the tournament's organisers have revealed.
The announcement comes after OpTic relinquished their spot in the North American league to compete in ESEA MDL Europe in an attempt to qualify for the region's Pro League division in Season 9.
In a statement, ESL explains that the decision to award MIBR the slot is "based on the fact that their roster consists of former Pro League players and is one of the best teams in the world."

The Brazilian side had lost their spot in the league after leaving SK Gaming, who decided to retain their license, though they have yet to announce their future plans for the game.
The Cologne-based organisation was at one point heavily linked with a move for Não Tem Como, currently competing as NoTag, but there has been no news on that front.
The eighth season of the ESL Pro League will kick off on October 2, with 12 North American teams set to duke it out over a seven-week period for six spots at the offline finals, which will be held in Odense, Denmark, from December 4-9.
The following teams will take part in EPL Season 8's North American division:
