FaZe eliminate TYLOO to join 2-2 pool in London

FaZe ease past TYLOO 16-4 on Mirage to remain alive in London, joining the 2-2 pool with one victory away from the FACEIT Major New Champions Stage.

The second match of the 1-2 pool kicked off on Mirage, where FaZe comfortably secured the T pistol, before locking down the anti-ecos for a slated 3-0 start. The Chinese-Indonesian side tried to get back into the thick of things, but FaZe kept their composure to secure three more to make it 6-0.

A lopsided seventh round saw TYLOO with a man advantage early, but Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač swung back with a quad-kill to lock down the 7-0 score. FaZe went on to add three more to their lead, but eventually TYLOO won their first of the half, with Hansel "⁠BnTeT⁠" Ferdinand and Ke "⁠captainMo⁠" Liu putting in most of the work.

NiKo and co. live to fight another day in London

captainMo and his men went on to secure their second, but swiftly, FaZe got right back to it, claiming their 11th of the half, forcing the CTs to save - a move that paid off as the Chinese-Indonesian side managed to secure two in a row, down 11-4 at halftime.

The second half saw Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen and co. secure the CT pistol with ease, which paved the way for the European side to secure five straight in the 16-4 map victory.

But most of the time he is calling, ppl who are not fan of faze or hate faze,they will usually say swap karrgian for chrisj etc, little did ppl know that karrigan was the one that build up the current faze which manage to get into finals most of the lan tourament( yes ik they r good at choking during finals but tat not the main point) ,before faze got karrigan and niko,they cant even get into most of the playoff,exiting early in the group stage , and if u look at one of the esl videos, astralis old lineup(with karrigan inside) admit that karrigan have good strat and he is the guy that bring the team morale up( same for faze video,they admitted the same thing) ,so most people might think he is not useful and not a decent igl but in fact he is a decent igl

im not denying what hes done for them to begin with, but his place in the team seems over if hes not even calling. in that game he was quiet, and you could visibly see he wasnt raising any morale. niko was the one doing his job, so if karrigan isnt even igl, and he isnt raising morale or giving strats, he doesnt have a use on the team anymore.

as soon as niko took over igl this tourney they do well, its obvious they dont have faith in karrigan anymore, and very likely hes gonna be removed. you cant ignore the obvious signs and just look at the past and what hes done way back, look at now, hes not leading them to victory and hasnt in a while, something needs to change and its gonna be him
