Gratisfaction & liazz join Renegades' ESEA roster

Renegades look to their roots by adding Sean "⁠Gratisfaction⁠" Kaiwai and Jay "⁠Liazz⁠" Tregillgas to the team's ESEA roster.

The additions come soon after the departure of their AWPer and in-game leader Noah "⁠Nifty⁠" Francis to Envy, who announced their return to CS:GO yesterday.

Gratisfaction has spent his career in the land down under, most notably flying the Grayhound banner, where the 22-year-old New Zealander gradually gained most of his success — qualifying for IEM Shanghai & DreamHack Masters Stockholm, while placing second at the CS:GO Asia Summit 2018 as well as winning ESEA MDL Season 28 Australia.

liazz could see a change of scenery

Alongside Gratisfaction, the 21-year-old Australian Liazz enters the Renegades squad. Formerly under ORDER, he has been the key to the teams' success throughout the year, securing the WESG 2017 Asia Pacific Finals over MVP PK while nearly taking out Major Champions Cloud9 at IEM Sydney, leading the series with a 1.45 rating.

With the two Oceanic additions, it is likely the Norwegian Joakim "⁠jkaem⁠" Myrbostad will be seeing the exit doors after stepping into the roster in February to fill in the gap left by Keith "⁠NAF⁠" Markovic.

Ahead of Renegades is a hefty schedule, with the ESL Pro League Season 8 as well as ECS Season 6 set to begin October 2nd and 3rd, while the team also have IEM Chicago and StarSeries i-League Season 6 in the near future.

With the additions, Renegades' roster looks as follows:

It's not the New Zealand flag It's HLTV's own 'Oceania' flag which is just like someone took the AU flag and turned the opacity to %30 in photoshop. Go into your profile and change your flag to Oceania and it will be the same.

Nah I would say Jks was better, Jks gets far less eco kills and clutches a lot of crucial rounds being a supportive/lurk player, All his kills are super impractical while 1/2 rounds per game Jkaem (and AZR,Ustilo) will get fed some eco’s since they are more aggressive entry type players, Not saying Jkaem was bad, Easiy 2nd best player but imo Jks was better
