Official: INTZ sign NoTag

The Brazilian organization have acquired NoTag, who will be traveling to Canada where the team will reside.

The move confirms earlier reports about the organization looking to send a team to North America to compete in qualifiers and online leagues — as the team will indeed participate in the ESL Pro League Season 8 after inheriting SK's spot.

Originally, João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos & co. were close to linking up with SK and even bootcamped at the German organization's offices in Cologne, but talks eventually went silent, leaving the then Não Tem Como without support.

After a series of lackluster performances, the team underwent changes and went their separate ways with Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau and Bruno "⁠BIT⁠" Fukuda Lima, adding Alexandre "⁠xand⁠" Zizi and João "⁠horvy⁠" Horvath into the mix, but sorrows continued as the team failed to qualify for IEM Chicago over Luminosity.

With the acquisition, INTZ are set to compete in the ESL Pro League Season 8, which begins October 2nd with their first match against MIBR, although it is uncertain if the team will take SK's slot in ECS Season 6.

Also, according to Dust2.us, the Brazilian organization intends their continued support of their local Brazilian lineup, who will be playing under a new name that has not yet been announced.

+1, he's really unlucky with teams after leaving SK. Maybe he should go to Europe if his English is at least decent.

Yeah he left SK because of personal problems. He was lacking motivation and started playing bad. Felt really bad for him. The brazilian scene has one good team only, and now with two north american players in the lineup, so there isn't much left for felps. If I were him I'd invest on improving my english and try an international team. This lineup has no future

It's clear that they are improving their teamplay, specially after ynk joined the team. But they're still too far from Astralis, more than the other teams. They have greater problems than the language, it's not a matter of having a full BR roster.

Horvy is a good player but his mentality isn't as cold as it should be, if he learns how to get more confident I think he can be at least a consistent player, now imagine having this psychological factor while trying to be the in game leader, I hope his gameplay don't suffer too much. yeah I agree he has to develop, but I think they know that there is a chance for him to improve where as a player like bit is at his full potential (if not past his prime)...so they have less experience but more potential skill, with practice and time I think it will work out. Everyone expects things fast in CSGO it seems but sometimes it takes longer. MIBR took longer to get decent but now they are top 4.
