AGO take down Sharks to qualify for Toyota Master Bangkok

AGO have qualified for Toyota Master Bangkok 2018 after defeating Sharks 2-1 in the grand final of the Europe qualifier.

AGO eased their way into the final after taking down Royal Bandits 16-7 and comfortably secured the 2-0 series over PACT. The other side of the bracket saw Sharks take down Sprout before squeezing past the Swedes of topnotcheu to meet the Poles in the grand final.

Sharks and AGO kicked off the grand final on Cache, where the Brazilian side wasted no time tallying seven in a row as CTs before Damian "Furlan" Kislowski and his men secured their first of the half. The Poles managed to pick up two more, but Sharks fired back to claim three out of the next five rounds for a 10-5 lead at halftime.

AGO secure their place in Bangkok come November

The second half saw the Poles secure the CT pistol, but Renato "nak" Nakano & co. got right back to it, hounding on AGO's defense to grab the 16-7 map victory.

The next map in the series was Dust2, which saw AGO eventually come out on top 10-5 after a contested start to the first half. Sharks won the second pistol, but AGO responded immediately on a shoddy buy and refused to let off the gas, locking down the map at 16-6 to even the series.

The series decider then came down to Inferno, where the two sides had a highly-contested bout in the first and second halves, with the Brazilians coming back from a 15-12 deficit to force overtime. The contest ensued in the extra rounds, in which AGO eventually secure the 22-19 map victory after two overtimes to punch their ticket to Bangkok.

True, that line-up would have it way easier in Brazil or NA than here (except for the org support ofc)

IDK if playing in Europe ( where is more competition ) helps them. Taking AGO to 3 maps is pretty good.
