Singularity sign Gorilla Gang roster

Singularity have crossed the pond and signed the Gorilla Gang roster into their organization.

Singularity, who have historically fielded Swedish and Danish teams—with the likes of André "⁠BARBARR⁠" Möller and Nicklas "⁠gade⁠" Gade having been two of the players to have represented the organization in the past—, are now picking up an American squad, the NA MDL side known as Gorilla Gang, who are currently ranked #59 in the world.

Other than playing in ESEA's MDL, the signing of the Gorilla Gang roster comes ahead of the WESG 2018 United States Regional Final, where the team will be playing against Swole Patrol, Spacestation, and Vireo.pro for a spot in the Grand Finals and the lion's share of the $38,000 prize pool.

The organization's CEO, Atle Stehouwer, made the following statement after signing the North American side:

"Today we can happily announce our new CS:GO Main team, and this time we journey to North America to find our new representation, as we pick up the Gorilla Gang roster to represent the Singularity CS:GO banner.

"We completely understand that for many, especially Europeans, the switch from the EU scene to the NA scene seems like a strange move, but for us it makes perfect sense in regards to our long-term business plan.

"We have been in talks with the Gorilla Gang team among other teams in USA since March this year, but due to many various factors we didn’t make an agreement back then. We believe the Gorilla Gang roster has a huge untapped potential, and hopefully our structure, coordination and management will be able to make the talents shine and get to the next level.

"You can’t get to the next level as a player if you don’t have proper management and discipline around your game plan, and in Team Singularity we believe that with our knowledge and experiences we can be the game-changer for the roster to reach their potential and make a mark on the scene."

why not Swole Patrol?

why would Swole Patrol sign with this org? they want to get into better leagues first and sign for a bigger org

Swole is much better than this Gorilla Gang roster and has the chance to qualify for a bigger league like ECS and ESL Pro League. They are going to want a much better org to sign them

If the org wants to play in majors, they'll probably have another player to fill in for swag. Ghost gaming was invited to the major qualifier but they have steel who is valve banned and on liquipedia it shows they have a 4 man roster for the minor qualifier so far.
