First DreamHack Winter invites revealed

DreamHack has revealed the names of the first three invitees for this year's Winter event.

G2, OpTic and Complexity have all earned spots at the Swedish tournament, with the names of the last three invited teams due to be revealed shortly by DreamHack.

All three teams were recently in attendance at cs_summit 3, in Los Angeles. G2 were one of the first two sides to be eliminated from the eight-team tournament, while Complexity placed fourth, and OpTic were the losing finalists.

OpTic invited to compete at DreamHack Winter

DreamHack Open Winter will run from November 30 through December 2 at the Elmia Convention Center, in Jönköping, with $100,000 on the line. The six invitees will be joined by the winners of the online qualifiers - x6tence Galaxy in Europe and Bravado in North America.

X6tence Galaxy? How do you not know who they are? lol. Bååten played for old Fnatic Acd, BARBARR played in ESC Gaming during 1.6 together with face & cENTRY, he also played with Epsilon for a long time in CSGO. He also played a few matches (if i remember correct) with Znajder & Rape in a team called Begrip back in 2013. Yes, there is a player that was named Rape but now goes under the nickname of t3h f4rm3r, hes Swedish/Hungarian hltv.org/player/547/t3h%20f4rm3r Anyways, the X6 Galaxy team is actually pretty decent :)

Best South African team that plays in NA. Just checked and they're 14-4 in NA MDL only behind Swole Patrol so good chance they'll make it to NA EPL. Definitely below complexity though.

IESF will be their chance to show if they can win considering there's only HAVU, Nexus, SCARZ, Flow as somewhat noteworthy teams. ENCE, old Imperial (EU) weren't getting any invites until they got results. Vitality also had to qualify for Dreamhack Atlanta despite having 3 players that were part of top 1 team in 2015 and zywoo and are one of the most hyped new team. I think they only got invited to LOOT.BET 3 which is essentially a closed qualifier for some LAN event.
