StarSeries S7 EU & NA qualifiers announced

StarLadder has announced all the details about the European and the North American qualifying process for StarSeries i-League Season 7.

The European qualifier will run from December 6-20 and will kick off with a best-of-three, double-elimination group stage featuring 16 teams from across the continent (including the CIS region).

The top two sides from the group stage will progress to the first round of the playoffs, called relegation stage, for the chance to earn a spot in the quarter-finals, in which four invitees await.

Vitality will play for a spot at StarSeries Season 7

The winners of the relegation stage will march on to the quarter-finals, joining the following invited teams:

The North American qualifier, scheduled for December 7-18, will have just 12 teams and a different format from its European counterpart. Eight teams have been split into two double-elimination groups, with the top two sides from both groups moving straight into the quarter-finals, joining four invited teams.

The four teams waiting in the quarter-finals are the following:

StarSeries i-League Season 7 will take place in Shanghai, China, from March 30 to April 7, with $500,000 on the line. The last team will come out of the Asian qualifier, hosted by ImbaTV, with more details to be announced shortly.

Last time when vali and riders played vali trashed them 3-0 and that was with the old team,so now with nexa it would be maybe even a 16-0.The cis team had to be invited cause it is a cis tournament but yea 3dmax sucks dick they even lost to vali 2-0 this week...

It was a 2-0 and when riders was going through a rough time. They added a coach and are much better than they used to be. Valiance have achieved nothing so they deserve the invitation as much as Riders deserves it.

Nothing? You are calling nothing qualifing for wesg, and for katowice closed qualifier. Plus vali is second in UML a league which consists of all tier 2 top teams(RR,AGO,Sprout,Windigo,LDLC and so on).To put that in perspective with what riders have done is nothing

If i recall riders lost to sprout this week hmmm what a coincedenc, and ldlc made a nice run oj a big lan. But those teams are nothing compared to those that you are fighting in esea advancde

Sprout is not a tier 2 team, that's what I'm saying. Red Reserve is as bad as Movistar Riders or even worse. Ldlc can have good runs, but then lose against much lesser teams (as they did against Riders) so beating them doesn't really mean much

Oh great, online results. compLexity made top 8 at the major, eUnited beat Na'Vi at IEM Oakland and LG got 2nd at DH Atlanta. Also compLexity is #16, LG #23, eUnited #27 and INTZ only #37 on HLTVs ranking.
