Maikil "⁠Golden⁠" Selim will skip another tournament as Ismail "⁠refrezh⁠" Ali will step in for Cloud9 at BLAST Pro Series Lisbon, the organization has revealed.

BLAST Pro Series Lisbon will be the second tournament in a row Golden will skip due to medical reasons, as the Swede was ruled out of ECS Season 6 Finals late last month, while Soham "⁠valens⁠" Chowdhury stood in for him at the tournament.

His medical issues began at the beginning of November, when he was hospitalized on the first day of BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen, with valens playing the first two matches at the Danish tournament before the in-game leader returned for day two.

refrezh, who recently became a free agent, will step in for Cloud9 in Lisbon

This time, Cloud9 have opted for refrezh, who had also been asked to stand in for the squad in Copenhagen but wasn't able to in the end. The Dane has recently departed Fragsters and is currently on the lookout for a new team.

Cloud9's lineup at BLAST Pro Series Lisbon, which is set to take place at the Altice Arena in Portugal's capital city on December 14-15, will be the following:

I wonder what Golden's medical issue is, he will tell us in time if he wants to, but in the meantime I hope it is over soon because he is a fun IGL to watch and he can even clutch better than many IGLs when he needs to, I enjoy watching Golden. Anyways I hope this is just a minor thing with his health that is keeping him away from CSGO but is not anything major, and I wish him a speedy recovery!
