Luminosity confirmed for iBUYPOWER Masters

Luminosity have been invited to compete at the next iBUYPOWER Masters, the event's organisers have announced.

The Brazilian side are the second team confirmed for the event, joining Astralis, who were unveiled by iBUYPOWER last week.

This will be Luminosity's first offline event since re-signing Ricardo "⁠boltz⁠" Prass, who was brought in as a replacement for Gustavo "⁠yel⁠" Knittel.

Luminosity will attend the iBUYPOWER Masters next month

The announcement comes as a timely boost for Lucas "⁠steel⁠" Lopes' side, who were surprisingly eliminated from the North American qualifier for the Americas Minor after just two matches following losses to FURIA and Bravado.

iBUYPOWER Masters 2019 will take place on January 19-20 at the Avalon Theater Hollywood, in Los Angeles. There are now just six invites left for the tournament, which will have $200,000 on offer.

I guess makes sense actually, doubt any teams from eu and na and cis minors will be playing this event so makes sense team around top 20 who isn't in event would get invite unless all top teams go to event something xd

Last IBP masters actually only had teams that were playing in NA so I guess seeing this invite we might have again event with not many euros even if NRG and Renegades will not play due minors. Hopefully at least Liquid and MIBR will play so it will be solid event xd.
