Red Reserve sign grux; disco doplan benched

Red Reserve have announced that they have secured the services of former PAPERPLANES member Denis "⁠grux⁠" Gutaj.

The 19-year-old has been signed as a replacement for Joakim "⁠disco doplan⁠" Gidetun, who has been moved to the bench for reasons that were not disclosed by the Swedish organisation.

Formerly of PAPERPLANES, with whom he competed in back-to-back ESEA MDL seasons, grux has been playing for Red Reserve since the beginning of November, averaging a 1.07 rating while acting as a stand-in for the team.

disco doplan moved to the Red Reserve bench

He becomes Red Reserve's third signing in the last three months, after William "⁠draken⁠" Sundin and Alfred "⁠RuStY⁠" Karlsson, with the organisation's CEO, Patrik Andersson, admitting that recent times have been "turbulent" for the team.

"We are now in a comfortable place with the team starting to progress as expected," he said in a statement.

"Every member on the team has shown their loyalty and drive to be in Red Reserve and can now, with our support, start their path to the top tier of Counter-Strike."

With this move, Red Reserve now have:

you are 100% right, I am not a conspiracy theorist, but when you look at the "cheating circle" between grux and all these guys it is impossible to believe he had no connection with them. MAYBE he has not cheated, but playing with guys you KNOW are cheating for personal gain is almost as bad to me and is morally wrong the same as cheating...and he knew. very true. Some of the allegations against other people are either not concrete enough or proven enough...but with this case I don't need VAC this is more about associations...
