FaZe invited to iBUYPOWER Masters

FaZe are the latest confirmation for iBUYPOWER Masters 2019, the tournament's organisers have revealed.

FaZe are the fourth squad to accept an invitation to compete at the North American tournament, joining a team list that already features Astralis, Luminosity and fnatic.

Since lifting the trophy at ESL One Belo Horizonte alongside Jorgen "⁠cromen⁠" Robertsen in June, the European mixture has been struggling to reach their goals, with their best achievement being at EPICENTER 2018, in Moscow, where they were proclaimed champions after defeating Natus Vincere in the grand final, 2-0.

NiKo's FaZe will compete in Los Angeles

Most recently, FaZe decided to bench karrigan after their disappointing run throughout this season, including an 11th place finish in the online stage of ESL Pro League Season 8 Europe. Should the organisation reveal their fifth player in the meantime, iBUYPOWER Masters 2019 will mark the team's LAN debut with their new roster.

The event will be held on January 19-20 at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles, where eight top teams will duke it out for their share of the $200,000 prize pool.

With just four invites left to be revealed, the team list for the event currently looks as follows:
