AmaNEk parts ways with LDLC

François "⁠amanek⁠" Delaunay's contract with LDLC expired as of Friday, the player has announced on Twitter.

The Frenchman had been part of LDLC since mid-May when he joined the organization alongside David "⁠devoduvek⁠" Dobrosavljevic in lieu of Mathieu "⁠Maniac⁠" Quiquerez, who had announced his retirement, and Timothée "⁠DEVIL⁠" Démolon.

In his time with the Francophone side, the 25-year-old helped them win PMU Challenge 2018 Finals and ESL Pro European Championship, and most notably advance to the playoffs at IEM Chicago, where LDLC beat Renegades, North, and NRG.

AmaNEk stated he will "take a step back" to think about the next steps in his career

This marks the second departure of a player within a span of a little over a week, after Alex "⁠ALEX⁠" McMeekin left the squad to join forces with Vitality late last month.

LDLC are now down to the following trio:

David "⁠devoduvek⁠" Dobrosavljevic
Logan "⁠LOGAN⁠" Corti

Started together on small french teams until they started to grow with Platinium.WEGOTGAME (became Vexed after) that made a top 4 at ESWC in France, and devo was picked (trial) by NV but couldn't stay when NV could get ScreaM (was probably hoping to get picked by FaZe at the time but didn't happen). Both AmaNEk and devo continued the story together with Misfits in NA.

You're right but at the time, AmaNEk (and their Vexed mates at the time) thought devo shouldn't miss such an opportunity, devo would have said the same thing to AmaNEk (to go for it) if a big org wanted him at the time.

Valiance with amanek and especially with devoduvek would be a stacked team , if you would venture outside of tier 1 scene you would know how good espi and hunter are (both tier 1 potential) and valiance has already beaten LDLC number of times...

nexa too has gained a lot of experience since his stint with Renegades, learned from the failure and now he's on the rise. Not igleading ( did so in Imperial and Renegades ) he is t1 easily.

Many people know that Lord Ex6TenZ had a strict leadership style in VG and Titan, but not toxic. All players with whom he played say that he is a very friendly person. I think on (And I'm the one who is kicked) he meant out or left but anyway on the stream, he said that he left the team because there were problems with contracts and his soul mate Maniac wants to end his career. Then why in the announcement was different reasons? Probably because he did not want to lose his respect.

More likely on his stream he wanted to make it sound better for himself by changing the reason. LDLC also got much better after he left, coincident? Not likely. He might have a great legacy, but he hasn’t been good for many years. Saw him in LDLC vs some Swedish mix with Barbarr, LDLC was constantly over rotating for every slight fake, it was almost laughable. Again, like him all you want, but see him for what he is now!

He said that he will be back when he will be ready at 100%. He is one of best players in France. G2 is full, Vitality is full, 3DMAX is less rated that LDLC. He could also join an international team. Maybe he will be back when he will receive an offer by an important team (French or international). G2 if boddy is kick after the Major Vitality if they qualified themself at Major and if RpK is kick. FaZe if adreN decline their offer.
