iBUYPOWER Masters 2019 group draw

The draw for the group stage of iBUYPOWER Masters 2019 has been revealed by the organization.

Group A is headlined by the No.1 team in the world, Astralis, who have been drawn in the same group as fnatic, Cloud9 and Complexity. iBUYPOWER Masters 2019 will mark the first event for Jordan "⁠Zellsis⁠" Montemurro and Ricardo "⁠Rickeh⁠" Mulholland with their new teams, Cloud9 and Complexity, respectively.

Astralis are one of the favourites to win the event

As for Group B, it features Liquid, FaZe, Ghost and Luminosity. Liquid and FaZe will also be playing in Los Angeles with their new rosters, featuring Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip and Dauren "⁠AdreN⁠" Kystaubayev, respectively.

iBUYPOWER Masters 2019 will run on January 19-20 in Los Angeles, where the eight teams in attendance will duke it out for their share of a $200,000 prize pool.

Huh? Isnt the groups like this: 4 teams in each group 2 teams that go 1-0 play each other (winner of that match goes through & loser of that match play the team that goes 1-1 in eliminaton match?) 2 teams that go 0-1 play each other (loser is out?) Or am i wrong?

yeah c9 and astralis win first, so the new matches are c9 / astralis (winner goes to playoffs) fnatic / col (loser is eliminated) and then if astralis win and fnatic wins then the decider is c9/fnatic.
