Heroic trial blameF - Report*

According to Dust2.dk, HEROIC are currently trialling Danish newcomer Benjamin "⁠blameF⁠" Bremer as they look to replace Andreas "⁠MODDII⁠" Fridh.

The report surfaced earlier today, reinforced by a cryptic Tweet from the Swedish player, as well as his departure from the organisation's Steam group. blameF, 21, currently representing Epsilon, is testing the waters with HEROIC to see if he fits as a potential fifth on the roster, likely to replace the Swede in the event the trial is successful.

blameF is reportedly trialling with Heroic

MODDII has been part of the HEROIC roster since August 2016, assisting the organisation in achieving a variety of results. Of these, the most outstanding were a grand final run at DreamHack Open Atlanta 2017 and first-place finishes at Game Clash Masters 2018 and TOYOTA Master CS:GO Bangkok 2018.

Given the trial is successful, HEROIC could be looking at the following roster to represent them in the future:

Norwegians have an easier time understanding Swedish and Danish, while Danes and Swedes have more difficulties understanding each other but, but both also understand Norwegian quite well. - obviously we're talking in general terms here. It's really easy to actively learn the other languages, though, no matter which country you're from.

It’s very individual - I have worked more than 10 years with coworkers from both Sweden and Norway. Most of the time it’s easier to understand a swede the longer from up north they are. The dialect in Skåne closest to Denmark can be really difficult. Most Danish people are better at English than the other Nordic countries so when having a conversation and if there are misunderstandings most likely the danish person will suggest to switch to English which often is rejected from the other part. I have experienced this again and again at work.

But Icelandic is much more similar to Old Norse than Swedish, Norwegian and Danish. Moreover, their population consists of Norwegians who went there 1000 years ago. So they are linguisticly and genetically Scandinavian. I don’t understand why you want to exclude them.

Geographically Scandinavia only includes Norway and Sweden. Denmark is included culturally and politically. With these facts on the table, you have no reason to rage on our Turkish friend. He actually makes valid points and asks why Iceland is excluded (they're pretty similar to Scandinavian countries culturally and ethnically).

Normally I dont write in here, but I have to correct you. The term Scandinavia originates form the southern part of Sweden called Scania. This part has belonged to Denmark and Sweden on turn. So the name has nothing to do with Norway geographically speaking.

They probbaly will. Its either OpTic or Heroic that will add Karrigan. North "just" added cadiaN as IGL (Well 4 months ago). I dont see Karrigan staying in Envy.
