Vitality win WePlay! Lock and Load

Vitality have won WePlay! Lock and Load after defeating HellRaisers 2-0 in the grand final (16-10 on Cache and 16-7 on Dust2).

HellRaisers, Vitality, BIG and OpTic were directly invited to the playoff stage of the online competition while Spirit, FURIA, Virtus.pro, and pro100 joined them via the group stage.

HellRaisers took down both FURIA and BIG 2-0 to advance to the grand final while Vitality became their opponents by eliminating pro100 and OpTic without losing a map.

Vitality claimed the $25,000 first-place prize

The grand final kicked off on Cache where HellRaisers were on the T-side in the first half. Abay "⁠HObbit⁠" Khassenov & company had an 8-7 lead at halftime but Vitality closed out the map 16-10 after picking up nine of the first eleven rounds in the second half.

The French team managed to take eight rounds on the T-side of Dust2 and didn't lose a single round as CTs, winning the map 16-7 and finishing off the series 2-0. Vitality have earned $25,000 by finishing in first place while HellRaisers went home with $15,000.

Also everyone says "oh Zywoo just carries them and when he doesn't play amazing they lose" well everyone forgets that on G2 apex and NBK would usually be who had the big games cuz shox was IGL and Kennys was off and on. So now with Zywoo popping off 90% of the time then the occasional game where APEX or NBK drop 30 they'll be fine

"Pocket money" ? Because you assume that they will reach the Major's top8 ? Sure, they are already showing some really good stuff and they will probably do way better in the Major, but I still don't think that they can beat teams like Navi, Liquid, Astralis, Faze or fnatic in a Major match. And even if they do so, it seems unlikely that they can reach the top 4 (70K) in which this 25 k would have been "pocket money"

Vitality are actually becoming a decent team. The whole team really stepped up this event and didn't just sit back and make Zyw0o carry. They are looking like a top 10 team. I can't wait to see how they perform at the major.

You are right man. HR can be super good but they always choke in the most important matches... Honestly i don't think Angel is the problem. He made really good plays especially on cache but HellRaisers' utility usage should really improve imo. I hope they do better on the major :)

Not sure everyone is talking about Zywoo. But i think. Alex is the Player, French Teams didnt had in a long time. He's the missing Puzzle Piece. Zywoo gives them Firepower and gets them the motivation back to grind deathmatch. But ALEX gives them structure, fresh Ideas, Mid Calls and Vocality.
