MIBR invited to IEM Sydney

ESL has announced MIBR as the third confirmed team to attend IEM Sydney.

Following the local favorites, Renegades, and the defending champions, FaZe, MIBR are the third confirmed team to compete at IEM Sydney.

MIBR, currently bootcamping at the Movistar Esports Center in Madrid, are getting ready to debut their fully Brazilian roster at IEM Katowice 2019, where they are set to kick off their year at the New Legends Stage.

MIBR will travel down under to compete at IEM Sydney

Running between April 30 and May 5, the event in Australia will have $250,000 in prize money and the playoffs played at the Qudos Bank Arena. There are six invites left to be handed out, and qualifiers are already being played to determine six more teams that will be in attendance at IEM Sydney.

The qualifiers will see three teams coming from three Asian subregions, Greater China, Southeast Asia, and East Asia, and one more from Oceania, while North America and Europe will get one slot apiece. The last slot will go to the Australia/New Zealand national champion.
