New Legends Stage Round 4 match-ups revealed

The third round of the New Legends Stage, which saw the first two teams make it through to the playoffs and the first two eliminated, is behind us. Here are the match-ups for the fourth round of play at the IEM Katowice Major.

Day two saw the first teams make it through to the New Champions Stage, Astralis and Liquid, the #1 and #2 ranked teams in the world. With clean 3-0 scores, they will be the highest seeds on either side of the playoff bracket.

Natus Vincere will have another shot at the playoffs against AVANGAR

On the other end of the Swiss stage, BIG were eliminated, following a three-map series loss to ENCE, while Complexity survived after knocking out NRG 2-0.

The 2-1 and 1-2 matches, which will all be best-of-three matches and will see three more teams advance to the playoffs and three more be eliminated, are the following:

2-1 Pool:

Vitality vs. Renegades

1-2 Pool:

ENCE vs. G2
Cloud9 vs. HellRaisers
FaZe vs. Complexity

After the bo3 i might even believe in ENCE. During the bo3 i just laughed at them. Maybe they woke up :| Last map vs BIG was ez4ence. And they did lose against Renegades who are clearly on a good streak. Hellraiser game might have been more of not getting a good start + nerves. Same thing for G2 though. Kenny and shox are performing well’ish... Its a 50-50 game imo. Doesnt matter what happened in a bo1 in the earlier stage.

NiP is looking extremely scary, based on how they played against NRG, Hellraisers and especially Liquid, rendering them completely clueless during a lot of rounds. MIBR has had an underwhelming result so far, and have yet to prove themselves with this lineup. I’d actually say that MIBR are the underdogs in this one.

The rest of mibr play like utter crap individually while the rest of nip is atleast average around 1.0 rating (VS 0.86 fallen 0.89 fer, 0.91 felps)

MiBR didn't play an official match for like 2 months, then the first match would of course be hard for them. TACO and Cold showed today they're back. FalleN and fer are coming too, slower though. Felps is who probably will take a long time to bring his glory days back. So, if Tacold play what they did today and the others do a good work too, there will be 2 teams who are trying hard to come back to the top.

no it's not based on round difference. it's based on the initial seeding and the ELO rating. check iem twitter, they have graphics for the exact numbers
