BOOT-d[S] best FrostFire, qualify for Charleroi Esports
BOOT-d[S] have bested FrostFire in the grand final of the Asian qualifier for Charleroi Esports to secure a spot at the LAN event main Belgium.
The series kicked off on Mirage, where Alexandre "alecks" Salle and company commenced with a successful T side pistol round. The early momentum did not last long, as FrostFire were able to consistently fend off the offense, allowing but two rounds to slip by their guard in the middle portion of the half. After accruing a four-round lead, the Malaysian squad dropped the ball, allowing their opponents a foot back into the map.
Upon switching to the defence, lop-sided affairs ensued, as the Singaporean quintet absolutely rolled over the Ts. Consistent economic hits and their opponents' failure to breach sites led to a swift 16-9 conclusion in favour of BOOT-d[S].

Inferno ensued, seeing to somewhat of a turbulent start for both teams. The series leaders were able to stabilise after momentum upsets, leaping ahead both in rounds and monetary terms. Able to persistently control the CT economy, BOOT-d[S] developed a solid 8-2 lead. A pivotal moment for Aiman "aimaNNN" Azham and co. was round 11, as the team was able to secure their third round victory, as well as break a developed T economy in the follower. This created an opportunity for a late-stage comeback, which was not squandered, as FrostFire accrued the final five rounds to bring the gap to one round.
Once more, BOOT-d[S] found success on the CT side, albeit only after a loss in the pistol round. A five-round string was succeeded by two rounds of retaliation from FrostFire, and then some, but the effort proved insufficient in stopping the Singaporean squad, who concluded the map wth a 16-11 scoreline.
