KILLDREAM returns to Giants

Giants have announced that they have brought back Joao "⁠KILLDREAM⁠" Ferreira into their starting line-up.

The 26-year-old makes a return to the Portuguese team less than two months after being benched to make way for Luís "⁠ZELIN⁠" Lousada, one of the most highly-rated players in the country.

He will be stepping into the shoes of Rui "⁠RIZZZ⁠" Lima, who made his final appearance for Giants in the first open qualifier for Charleroi Esports, in which the team lost to Sprout in the final.

KILLDREAM takes RIZZZ's place in the starting line-up

KILLDREAM was already in the server last week during the European open qualifier for DreamHack Masters Dallas, in which Giants lost in overtime to ex-3DMAX, who would go on to progress to the closed stage.

With these changes, Giants now have:

Is there no “fresh” talent in portugal, I mean this squad consists of players above 25 y, maybe they should do so some scouting and bring in new blood for the portuguese scene to prosper.

there is but tbh in Portugal there are alot of big egos, I dont think any of the giants players would like to play with younger and newer players because they've known eachother for a long time. Pretty much no teams have long projects apart from offset and giants (even tho giants have switched players alot of times). We have tournaments, leagues, more orgs for teams(Things that were missing in Portugal), young players that are good individually but their egos are so big that they cant take any criticiscm, so no teams workout, and basically thats why we have no scene.

Fox is 32 and Mut is his lifetime budy around same age. Rest of the team yeah 26~, retire or irrelevant soon (when new gen arrives) Vodafone made this time for many reasons but NOT for longevity. Everyone in the scene busy focusing on fox and Mut penis size is but soon real talent will emerge and Vodafone will have top players retiring to replace and these guys getting near 30yo, retire or hang on with the new blood. My only doubt is will Vodafone drop the team (i'm not saying if it fails (that matters) or bring the newblood as olders leave. I hope Vodafone supports the changes to come over time as they will. Sauce: In the scene since 1.5 Edit: YngSharks got 5 kids and gave coachi a whip so they stay in place. This will be needed, I disagree that IGLs come hard, i think respect and knowing your place is the issue. Get some coachi and a bat.

You should be ashamed of posting that right now ahahah Let me educate you: Portugal is probably one the countries that play counter strike with LESS decent tournaments. Out of the top of my head, we had two past year: Moche XL and Blast Pro Series that are worth mentioning. We barely have any qualifiers. Now brasil with so many tournaments and teams playing? Big competitive scene, players playing in international teams, and you can’t achieve shit? I like mibr, but stop thinking your cs is still relevant lol welcome to astralis era.

There is no big tournaments in Brazil, the reallity Brazil is stuck in south america the first step for a brazilian team to get better is going to usa or europe to have opportunities to qualify for decent tournaments. Guess what Portugal is in Europe, you are born in a place where you can play the best competitive CS in world, you dont need to move out you country even your house. Portugal has decent ping to play all over the europe and guess what... portugal is still shit in CS and its not from today, CS has now more than 20 years and still your shithole country couldnt make into t2 even tought having all the benefits being placed in the best place in the world to learn counter-strike. Brazilian CS is relevant since 1.6 we have always had at least one team playing in majors events, but what about Portugal ? What is the fucking history you can tell me about Cs and portugal ? Dude you have europe qualify, travelling portugal to any western europe is much smaller distance for a brazilian player go on lan events on Sao Paulo, or do you think every brazilian player is born in the same state ? Lol, do you know how cs team works ? They play online 90% of the time all scrims and pratices are online they only play finals which are on LAN, even qualify is online so wtf are you talking about ? Do you know why we have some minor tournaments in Brazil ? Because its damm expensive going to europe or na without sponsors. If you asked for the brazilian community if we rather have decent connection with europe or minor events on Brazil we would choose having decent connection because what we want is playing on majors and that is achieved being in place where you can scrim and participate in the best league in world because like I said before most of the pratice, training , scrimming is done online, offline events is only yo show to the world what you have pratice for. Lets just be honest, you just want minors in portugal only say a portuguese team can achieve anything at all, thats ridiculous mentality, portugal has all the technological infra structure for having a tier1 team, but yet portugal still suck. No one cares about minors events in south america and that exists all these events are only made for teams without sponsor show their game so they can find a sponsor that will bring them to north america and europe. You are born in europe, just play faceit or esea that eventually you will be playing on LAN events if you DESERVE .
