ImpressioN signs for BTRG

BTRG have announced that they have completed the signing of Anthony "ImpressioN" Lim from BOOT-d[S].

The Singaporean player, who will replace ZhiWei "0i" Liu in the line-up, completed the switch after playing for BTRG in the second Chinese qualifier for IEM Sydney and, more recently, in the Asian Development League, helping the team to beat Panda.

ImpressioN had been on the lookout for a new challenge since being benched by BOOT-d[S], whom he had joined at the beginning of 2017. While with that team, he attended several international LAN tournaments, including three Big Events: DreamHack Masters Malmö 2017, IEM Sydney 2018 and ESL One Cologne 2018.

ImpressioN has joined the China-based team

He becomes the third high-profile signing by the Chinese organisation after Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar and Erik "truth" Hansen Dyrnes, who have been living in Asia since the beginning of the year.

"Joining BTRG is honestly a challenge that I had heavily considered since I first established contact with the organisation," ImpressioN told HLTV.org.

"They needed somewhat a player who could be something like a catalyst for the team, and it seems so far I've been a great fit with them. Binding the experiences of every individual player together and grinding to make it work, setting a system in place that can function.

"We have goals, we have hunger, now we just need to work it out as a unit. I look forward to seeing how far we can go and hopefully achieving great things together with some very talented and hardworking people."

BTRG now have the following line-up:

Estonia Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar
Norway Erik "truth" Hansen Dyrnes
China ZhiTao "Drea3er" Zhang
China BinJie "Cate" Wang
Singapore Anthony "ImpressioN" Lim

China Yan "start" Zhang (coach)

Well some of these noname Chinese orgs have fucktons of money because they're backed by huge companies. Fejtz knows he can't play CS fulltime in Europe (not good enough) but he can if he joins teams like these.

cuz most of times, qualified from China is way much harder than other parts of Asia, so this decision is acceptable.
