Due to Dauren "⁠AdreN⁠" Kystaubayev and Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač facing visa issues, Karlo "⁠USTILO⁠" Pivac and coach Janko "⁠YNk⁠" Paunović will stand-in for FaZe against Chiefs at IEM Sydney.

The European side are set to meet local squad Chiefs in the opening round on Tuesday, with YNk and USTILO standing in for FaZe as AdreN and NiKo are facing visa issues.

Although the organization hasn't specified the situation of the two players, the duo will supposedly be ready to play on the second day, when Group B's teams', including FaZe, are scheduled to play their second matches.

USTILO will face two of his former teammates on Tuesday

This marks the second time in the last month that FaZe have had to field their coach, YNk, on the opening day of a tournament, as he previously stood in for Ladislav "⁠GuardiaN⁠" Kovács against paiN at StarSeries i-League Season 7.

USTILO has been out of action since early March, when ICON fell apart as Simon "⁠Sico⁠" Williams left for Grayhound while Chris "⁠ofnu⁠" Hanley and Ryan "⁠zewsy⁠" Palmer were loaned to Chiefs, whom the 25-year-old will face in Sydney.

FaZe's lineup for their match against Chiefs will be the following:
