DreamHack Masters Dallas groups announced

DreamHack has revealed the groups and schedule for the $250,000 Masters stop in Dallas, taking place on May 28-June 2.

The group stage will see the 16 participants split into two double-elimination groups of eight, with the top side in each advancing directly to the semi-finals, while second to third-placed teams will make it to the quarter-finals; a format ESL has been utilizing in their large-scale tournaments since 2018.

Liquid have the likes of NiP, FaZe, and Vitality in their group

IEM Sydney champions Liquid have been drawn in Group A alongside two more top-ten teams, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and FaZe, while Group B features four squads currently residing in the top-ten of our current world ranking, including recent BLAST Pro Series Madrid winners ENCE,as well as fnatic, NRG, and Renegades.

Faze will be the weakest clan among them. Neo English ain't so good, though he is calm and composed player and a good Igl. Its all about coordination and communication. Faze will fail, unless Nike takes over as Igl and where neo has to talk less.

Hey look!! I'm an Australian complaining about timezones! This tournament is bad because it starts at 3am AEST and finishes 12pm. What do I do with myself I can't watch any match live. My boys Renegades need my support but I'm too fkn juvenile to set an alarm to watch and support my team. USA should never hold a tournament ever again.
