FNS and TenZ to stand in for Lazarus in Minor Qualifier

As Michael "⁠dapr⁠" Gulino and Braxton "⁠swag⁠" Pierce are unable to participate in the North American Minor qualifiers, Lazarus will be playing with Pujan "⁠FNS⁠" Mehta and Tyson "⁠TenZ⁠" Ngo.

Lazarus have recently participated in ESL Pro League Season 9 Americas and the ESL One Cologne North American closed qualifier, finishing the former without a win and the latter in third place following defeats to Ghost and FURIA. The squad will now attempt to qualify for the North American Minor, but without two of their players.

FNS will help out Lazarus in the Minor Qualifier

swag is ineligible to play due to the Valve event ban tied to the match-throwing incident he was involved in back in 2014, while the team opted to not play with dapr as he is attending a wedding during the closed qualifier. In their stead, veteran FNS and youngster TenZ will step in.

Lazarus' squad for the North America Open Qualifier 1, which commences today at 23:00 , is as follows:

No, but it’s the same concept. Swag wasn’t an infant when he decided to matchfix. He was one year off of 18. He knew what he was doing and should suffer the consequences with DaZed, Steel, and AZK.

This is a genuine question since I'm not too clear about the events at that time. Why wasn't Skadoodle banned like the rest of his teammates? To my knowledge he was part of the iBuyPower lineup that performed the match throwing at the time.

Only reason Skadoodle didn't get banned is that he didn't receive any skins into his account from the same distributor who gave skins to all of his teammates. The money trail is impossible to track from that point onwards so he was ruled as a non-benefittor
