SK target Begrip's zneel

HLTV.org understands that SK Gaming are looking to sign Jim "zneel" Andersson from Begrip Gaming.

SK Gaming have been tipped for roster changes after placing second at Dreamhack Summer behind a Lemondogs mix team, and, more recently, fourth at eStars Seoul.

HLTV.org understands that SK Gaming have been locked in talks with Begrip Gaming as they plan to sign Andersson ahead of the Extreme Masters Global Challenge in Cologne, which will take place in two weeks.

Contacted by HLTV.org, Begrip boss Vasili "individ" Richardsson said: "There is not much info at the moment, we will discuss this matter [with SK] later tonight."

It is unknown whose shoes Andersson will fill, but reports indicate that Kristoffer "Tentpole" Nordlund may be the one to depart the team.

SK Gaming have not made any changes to their line-up since bringing in Marcus "zet" Sundström from compLexity in September.

Well, look at Neo for example.. He rocked in 2006 and 2007 when they were in Pentagram.. I don't know what happened to him, but imo he's not as skilled as before. Maybe it's other players' skills that moved on (and Neo's not), but I don't believe in this.

SpawN was one of the top players, probably still is.. But he's not good any more, if you quit CS for a while you're just not that if you just play a little like that. I mean before SK dominated when SpawN and fisker and 'em played, but imo i don't think SpawN would be so good in SK now..

zet brings a lot to the team, outside and in the game, while tentpole is a great aimer, but not more than that. While I would prefer SpawN or threat/face replacing Tentpole, zneel is still a very good player and I hope this will shake them up.

let's all agree - they're all great players. you can't measure someone's skill only by how many headshots they shoot. both zet and tentpole are valuable to the team and are good at different things.

dsn can destroy walle, he's in his game right now. but I think walle can outsmart him, he's got a lot of experience and knows his way around, I think that's why. and you guys underestimate allen. Im going to be shot for saying this but... SpawN would be a horrible pickup. When he retired hes was good but wasnt great. He was a consistent fragger. I dont think thats SK's problem. I think they are lacking the hunger that they need, somthing I don;t beleive spawn has. Look at Get Right and Gux, they came into fnatic and had to prove themselves. They played CS when everyone else was on holiday and are now reaping the benefits of that.

tentpole is one of the most consistent players I've ever seen. He's always doing his work well. They need to bring SpawN back! He didn't play so long so I hope he'll be back motivated!

i think zneel is a very good player. His famas is great. he is a very good option for sk. i also think that tentpole and spawn will make a comeback in a new team together.

on the one hand SK should change not only 1 member because one player won't inspire rest of team but on the other hand it would be very sad to remove old school players.

well SK must try something cause they cant beat the top teams like fnatic or mouz in the moment so they have to see new ways to be like they were before. old SK with fisker,vilden,snajdan and the others was way better then now and they fell that i think so its a good choisse

tentpole is the best clutch player of all time. This is a super bad desicion for SK. fnatic is unbeatable at the moment. SK placing top 4 at every tourment is a good score for them already!!!!!! No need to undergo roster changes!

Can everyone stop saying things like "OH NO!!! Zneel isn't that good. He can't play in SK!!! Bad choice OMG!!!" I think they know what they are doing. They know that zneel is really good and so do i. Spawn is great due to his massive experience. He will not be great again if he forgotten to improve from all his mistakes and still facing nervous breakdown in grand finals. IMO, if zneel fails to perform, the person that should take the responsibility is the senior officials of SK (whom made the choice).

I'm not sure if ur a closa associate to tentpole.. But being a top fragger in SK and inviting the whole team to bootcamp in his own house, and then suddenly become the 1st one to step down from a losing lineup? It's just a surprising outcome. Imo, he's the best player during the last Dreamhack Winter. Probably he juz need a long break and come back to SK when the weakest-link is out for good. We need to hear his truthful statement if he really retires. I'd bet he's still loyal to BDS.

You know there are some players that you can call hidden talents. Players that are on decent teams because there team mates are decent. Let's say they do put zneel on SK Gaming, what are the chances that there is going to be talk about zneel being an amazing player. I think SK Gaming is making a very smart choice on choosing zneel because he is a hidden talent waiting for the right team to show what he has. GL zneel/SK/tentpole :D

Exactly. I agree with you. Playing with experienced and skilled players makes you want to become better and they make you better because you learn from them. Maybe there would be other players that could fit, but zneel is definitely not a bad choice.

You're right, Everyone is stuck on the fact that the best cs players are retired or soon to be retired WRONG. New players are arising. The reason i think new player will be better is because when the professionals like walle, tent, spawn, heaton, anyone today who is a legend, they learned by themselves. We have demos, guides, and more dedication with twice as many tournemants and money

SpawN is really good but not enough to play in SK at present. Tentepole is most certains, solid player on SK, He had least mistake so i think that he should stay in SK. RobbaN or Zet should leave SK.

imo sk need to change something in the team because there is a lack of motivation/passion in there. so some new blood like zneel brings is a good thing because this will spice up things and greatly increase the oldschoolers motivation. pitty tentpole maybe going out but we don't know the reasons. anyway gl to sk and to everyone involved into the changes in and out

In my opinion SK isn't the samething without Abdisamad 'SpawN' Mohamed . I've allways grown up watching SK, and when they left SpawN they started having less results.. I would like to see SpawN back to SK-Gaming.swe he is my favourite player :]
