G2, Renegades join IEM Chicago team list

The final two invites for IEM Chicago 2019 have been revealed, with G2 and Renegades confirmed for the $250,000 tournament in July.

The French and Australian side join four previously invited teams —Liquid, ENCE, Vitality, and MIBR—, and round up the list of the six teams invited to the tournament.

Renegades will be competing in Chicago before the player break

IEM Chicago will take place on July 18-21, with eight teams competing for their share of a $250,000 prize pool. The tournament will be the last big one before the player break, and is a part of the Intel Grand Slam circuit.

The final two teams will be decided through two qualifiers. The eight teams competing in the European GG.BET Chicago Invitational have been revealed today, while only four teams that will be competing in the North American Closed Qualifier are currently known.
