Heretics sign FrenchFrogs roster

Heretics have signed the former 3DMAX lineup that was playing as FrenchFrogs.

Heretics, a Spanish organization known for their Call of Duty World League team more than for their former Spanish and Iberian CS:GO teams, have announced the signing of FrenchFrogs, the squad captained by David "⁠Davidp⁠" Prins.

Joining the former 3DMAX players will be Jérémy "⁠jeyN⁠" Nguyen, a 21-year-old who played his first match recorded on HLTV in FrenchFrogs' 16-19 loss to SJ in the GameAgents League Season 3.

FrenchFrogs will now play under the Heretics banner

The roster went through a rough patch, with a last place finish at the ESL Pro League Season 9 group stage in Leicester, England, where they were unable to take a map off of Astralis, BIG, or HellRaisers.

Following a failed attempt at qualifying for the Europe Minor, the French side went out early in two qualifiers, for ESL One New York and IEM Chicago, after defeats to OpTic and Nordavind, as well as a 5-8th place exit from the Kalashnikov Cup Season 2 following a defeat to Nemiga. After these losses, Ali "⁠hAdji⁠" Haïnouss—who just announced his signing with Windigo today—departed the team.

Heretics' new lineup will try to leave those blunders behind with the support of their new organization and fight to remain in ESL's flagship league in the pre-relegation against teams like Ninjas in Pyjamas and Windigo, although their first slated event is the MSI MGA open qualifier, which starts on Friday, July 12th, at 18:00 .

"It's very important for us to have a professional structure around the team. We finally have the opportunity of having everything we didn't have for over eight months. It's very important to create something that will last and for that we need a certain work ethic, discipline, and diligence that are essential for a team to work properly.

"Thanks to Heretics, this will now be possible. It will now be our duty to work hard and accomplish our goals."

I am not agree with you. Ex6 and davidp have not the same lead style. Ex6 is a leader like Karrigan, stanislaw or Zeus, not so much fire power but very tactical. I don't know a lot davidp, but his lead style look like the game of Fallen, more flexible, based on instinct. I like this new team. Spanish scene and organizations are awful. They just want succesful projects with foreign players more than recruitung young national talents, even though they would need time. I give this roster one season :)

Agreed. Most orgs just feed off of the money of sponsors and merchandising. x6 is the very best example, and that's why I'm ashamed of our scene. Only Riders tried to shake things a bit but due to the lack of talent and loWel and mix leaving only left a bitter scar. We must prevail with new more professional orgs and better talent, which will take time. Perhaps in 2-3 years we might have a top 50 team that isn't only Riders or an org that isn't complete ass shit besides them as well. All Spanish pros that are worth something should go pro in Europe, just saying ( like I'm trying to do myself ).

lol. spanish "pro" players have had a lot of chances by now. They can't even reach ESEA Advanced playoffs. Most teams (except Movistar) can't do shit internationally. Look at polish, frech or german scene, they have a lot of teams and players around T3-4, in MDL and always reaching closed qualifiers. Where is the old Heretics roster? ex-dragons? Mad Lions? lmao. There are no young talents here, all wasted players that only play mixes in faceit.

sry but we don't have the talent to have more than one relevant team. That's it. We are not Sweden, Germany or Poland. Spanish "pro" players are happy playing national leagues and moving to different teams every split. But apart from that, I don't see why is wrong to pick European players, there are a lot of orgs doing that like Optic, FaZe, mouz, HR, now Windigo too. Orgs are companies that invest a lot of money in players and all they want is a revenue for that. Hiring Spanish players is like throwing your money into a water well
