Asia Minor group draw and schedule announced

StarLadder has revealed the group draw and schedule for the Asia Minor, kicking off July 24.

Eight teams, who qualified for the Asia Minor via a series of regional closed qualifiers, have been drawn into two groups in the first stage of the $50,000 tournament, which will be held in Berlin from July 24-28.

The top two of the Asia Minor will advance to the New Challengers stage of the StarLadder Major, while the third-place side will be given a second chance to advance via the Minor play-in, a last-chance qualifier offering a total of three slots in the opening stage of the Major.

In line with both the Americas and Europe Minors, the Asia Minor will see a GSL group stage format, kicking off with best-of-one opening matches and best-of-three series ensuing in all following match-ups, including the playoffs, featuring a double-elimination bracket.
