TYLOO crush MVP PK; secure StarLadder Major spot

TYLOO managed a confident 2-0 victory over MVP PK (16-4 Dust2, 16-6 Inferno) to secure a second-place finish at the Asia Minor and grab a spot at the StarLadder Major Main Qualifier.

The final series of the Asia Minor started on Dust2, TYLOO's map pick, with the Chinese team starting off strong on the Terrorist side. They claimed the pistol and subsequent rounds, going up 3-0, with HaoWen "⁠somebody⁠" Xu clutching a 1v3 in the fourth round to push that lead forward. As the score was 7-0, Hae-Sung "⁠HSK⁠" Kim and Seon-Ho "⁠xeta⁠" Son grabbed doubles to put their team on the board, but TYLOO pushed long in the following round and took it with ease, breaking the Korean side's bank.

MVP PK strung three rounds together to get the score back to 9-4, but then couldn't stop a low-buy B-split, and TYLOO finished the half on a high, 11-4. Hansel "⁠BnTeT⁠" Ferdinand and co. stopped the B push on the pistol to continue their dominance, and after locking down their opponents first buy, closed out the game swiftly, 16-4.

Summer has led TYLOO to the Main Qualifier

A successful force buy that came in following a lost pistol gave MVP PK the lead early into their Terrorist side of Inferno, 3-1, before TYLOO managed to stabilize. (4-4) BnTeT then stepped up to the task, locking down the Car position with four frags, getting TYLOO back into the lead.

The Chinese team looked strong for the rest of the first half, finishing it 10-5 up, and held off MVP PK's B retake attempt in the pistol go edge closer towards victory. TYLOO's aggression on Banana paid off for them time and time again, seeing them finish the game confidently, 16-5.
