Syman through to StarLadder Major; DreamEaters to Minor Play-in
Syman have clinched second place at the CIS Minor to secure a spot in the StarLadder Major New Challengers Stage after beating DreamEaters, who will have another chance to qualify in the Minor Play-in.
In a rematch from the upper bracket semi-final, DreamEaters and Syman met again in a contest for a spot at the Major, with the same three maps going through the veto process; Inferno, Dust2, and Train.
Svyatoslav "svyat" Dovbakh's side won the opening map comfortably last time, but this time it was quickly getting clear they were going to have their work cut out for them. The two sides kept going back and forth by a few rounds throughout the first half, which eventually saw DreamEaters secure a one-round advantage as Terrorists despite Sanzhar "neaLaN" Iskhakov's closing 1v3 clutch.

When the sides switched the chaos continued with an especially curious pistol, which Syman managed to win despite the bomb holder getting stuck in the middle of the entire opposing team in pit. Maksim "t0rick" Zaikin's team were particularly keen on the B bombsite from that point on, with most rounds ending with an afterplant situation there as neither side was able to close it out in regulation.
DreamEaters secured the opening two rounds in overtime on the CT side as the B attacks continued, but a switch-up to A worked out for Syman, who then managed a perfect defense on the back of two multikills from neaLaN and Nicolas "Keoz" Dgus's 1v2 for 19-17 and a 1-0 lead in the series.
Dust2 started out with DreamEaters looking incredibly dominant, with their opponents only managing a few kills on the way to a 0-6 deficit. Syman finally found their first round then after a long technical pause, upon which they managed to salvage the half adding five more to their name.
While technical issues kept wreaking havoc, the match crawled to an end in the second half, where DreamEaters began strong with a pistol round win to extend their lead to 11-6, but they still couldn't force the third map due to a strong defense from Syman, who only let go of one round en route to a 16-12, 2-0 victory.
