Quantum Bellator Fire accused of withholding funds from former roster - Report

A list of new details regarding Quantum Bellator Fire owing former players funds have emerged, as per a report by Dexerto.com.

On August 1, HLTV.org published an interview with former co-owner of Quantum Bellator Fire, Vyacheslav Solovyev, where we heard the organisation's position on outstanding funds owed to former players, brought to light by a Tweet from Kirill "⁠Boombl4⁠" Mikhailov, former representative of the roster. Since then, new details on the situation have emerged.

According to the report, over a combined $60,000 were owed to all members of the roster by the organisation, comprised of debt from "unpaid salary, prize money and sticker money from their participation in the ELEAGUE Boston Major". It also emerged that the initially claimed outstanding $95,000 "did not account for prize money payments to the team that were received from Quantum Bellator Fire in March, of around $35,000". While the outstanding debt has been paid in full by Winstrike, the organisation was not made aware of it until transfer negotiations were underway.

Additionally, it reported that Solovyev had, on several occasions, withheld funds from the team both during and after their tenure with Quantum Bellator Fire. In conclusion, it was mentioned that the final payment made by Winstrike to the incoming players and coach was 3,500,000 Rubles (~$52,000), contrary to a previously stated 2,950,000 (~$46,000).
