Windigo to play ESL Pro League Relegation with blocker and v1c7or

Windigo have announced that they will play the upcoming ESL Pro League relegation process with their former lineup featuring Viktor "⁠v1c7oR⁠" Dyankov and Yanko "⁠blocker⁠" Panov.

The team is unable to use their two newest players, Ali "⁠hAdji⁠" Haïnouss and Buğra "⁠Calyx⁠" Arkın, brought in in July, as the league's rules prevent them from making changes to their roster during the season.

For that reason, Windigo will use their two former players, v1c7oR and blocker, with whom the Bulgarian side played the regular portion of ESL Pro League Season 9, placing fourth in Group C after close losses to Natus Vincere, G2, and fnatic.

v1c7or and blocker will step back into Windigo's roster for EPL relegation

The relegation process will begin on August 15 with the pre-relegation tournament, in which Windigo will face Heretics in the opening round, with Ninjas in Pyjamas and Turkey5 on the other side of the double-elimination bracket.

The winner will keep their spot in Pro League, while the second and third-placed teams will go up against Sprout and Spirit in a secondary double-elimination bracket for two more spots in the tenth season of the league.

Windigo will play the relegation process with the following five:

It's not like they are replaced by randoms, they played together for a very long time so they still have chemistry between them, also full bulgarian lineup instead of an international one so the communications will be very gud

Just saying that's is more easy to get a chemistry between players with same nationalities and language instead of having an international lineup which is obviously less natural in the talks and the calls IG than their full bulgarian lineup

Kinda bs considering relegation tournament is so far apart from regular season. If anything it should be counted under season 10 roster rules
