G2 take down DreamEaters; Vitality outclass INTZ

Vitality secured their first win in Berlin by taking down INTZ, while G2 went 2-0 in the tournament following a 16-9 victory over DreamEaters

DreamEaters opened up Overpass with a miraculous retake during the pistol round to put themselves on the scoreboard, following that up with two more rounds before G2 finally won a round of their own. Much like their opening match against TYLOO earlier, Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon and co continued to execute cautious but precise plays to get themselves successfully onto both sides of the map to pull ahead of DreamEaters, ending the half up 9-6.

G2's confidence from the first half was carried over into the second, with their defense proving to be even more deadly than their offense as they continued onto double digits uncontested. Not even a 1v2 clutch from Vladislav "⁠Krad⁠" Kravchenko was enough to get DreamEaters back into the game as the Russians won just three rounds over the course of the half before G2 closed out the map 16-9. 

After losing to underdogs Syman in their opening match, it was clear coming into Mirage that Vitality had no intentions of taking it easy against INTZ. Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut opened up the map with three kills to secure the pistol round, and from there it was a blood bath. Vitality started stacking round upon round on the board, leaving INTZ unable to answer back with a single round. Nathan "⁠NBK-⁠" Schmitt and co aggressively took control of all corners of the map, easily closing out the first half of the map 15-0.

Despite the lackluster performance from INTZ on their T-side, they did manage to deny Vitality a 16-0 victory by barely winning the second pistol round of the map. However, even with the likes of Vito "⁠kNgV-⁠" Giuseppe and Alexandre "⁠xand⁠" Zizi stepping up for the team, the 15 rounds they gave up in the first half proved to be too many to come back from as they would lose the game before hitting double digits.
