Vitality have withdrawn from BLAST Pro Series Moscow due to being unable to field a full lineup, with the organizers deciding to move CIS Play-In teams AVANGAR and FORZE to the main event.

The French side was not able to complete the roster after they benched Nathan "⁠NBK-⁠" Schmitt earlier this month following a quarter-finals finish at the StarLadder Major, with rumors suggesting they are still in the process of replacing the 25-year-old.

Vitality withdraw from the Moscow tournament

To replace Vitality at BLAST Pro Series Moscow the organizers have decided to scrap the CIS Play-In, which had originally been set to be played on the first day of the main event to decide the sixth team, with AVANGAR and FORZE advancing to complete the team list.

The team list for BLAST Pro Series Moscow, taking place on September 13-14, now looks as follows:

I agree, It's unproffesional and if there are no consequences the teams won't really care, although maybe tournaments will stop handing out invites to those teams. But all in all, it's a shame for the whole CSGO scene. Maybe also create a yearly transfer window like in bicycle sports. So there aren't any roster changes right before a major and straight in between two events.
