DreamHack Open Rotterdam 2019 viewer's guide

HLTV.org presents a comprehensive viewer's guide for DreamHack Open Rotterdam 2019, taking place over the coming weekend.

DreamHack Open Rotterdam 2019 will take place on October 18-20, featuring eight contestants duking it out for $100,000 in prize money. The teams will be split into two groups, fighting it out in a GSL setting with best-of-one initial matches followed by best-of-three elimination and decider series.

The top two squads from each group will advance to the playoffs, which will feature a single-elimination, best-of-three format, exclusively. The champions will be crowned upon the conclusion of the grand final on Sunday, kicking off at 17:00 CEST.

Ahead of the tournament, the former Dreameaters squad has signed for a new organization, Hard Legion, while Beşiktaş, who qualified for the event by winning the all-women event DreamHack Showdown, parted ways with Meyssa "⁠Missa⁠" Bellouati and revealed they will be using Steven "⁠blackie⁠" Groeneveld from Asterion as a stand-in.

Rotterdam will see familiar faces on the broadcast, with Frankie "⁠Frankie⁠" Ward taking on the desk host role.
