IEM Beijing viewer's guide
With IEM Beijing set to start soon, we bring you an overview of the tournament and the most important information about it from a viewer's perspective.
The $250,000 tournament in China will take place on November 7-10th, with eight teams, including the current top two in the world, set to fight for the title. Aside from the prize money, IEM Beijing will also award a point towards the Intel Grand Slam Season 3 title where Evil Geniuses, fnatic, and Liquid are currently tied with one point each.

The team list for the event originally featured MOUZ and Liquid, but the former squad was unable to attend the event due to visa issues, while the latter decided to pull out, citing a dense schedule.
The eight competing teams are split into two BO3 GSL groups, from which four teams will advance to the single-elimination playoffs:
The schedule sees the group stage played over the first two days, with the playoffs taking place on Saturday and Sunday in front of a crowd at the Beijing University Students' Gymnasium.
