WePlay! Forge of Masters S2 Finals team list finalized

The eight teams that will be participating in the $100,000 WePlay! Forge of Masters S2 Finals have been determined, with the likes of FORZE, SMASH, and GamerLegion set to compete at the event in Kiev, Ukraine.

WePlay! Forge of Masters S2 kicked off with a 24-team group stage, featuring six four-team groups. The winner of each group earned a spot at the LAN Finals, quickly resulting in six LAN finalists: FORZE, Tricked, Gambit Youngsters, SMASH, GamerLegion, and Winstrike.

STYKO and co. will play their first LAN since the Europe Minor

The last two teams were determined through two more stages of competition, with Fabien "⁠kioShiMa⁠" Fiey's Heretics and Asger "⁠AcilioN⁠" Larsen's Copenhagen Flames earning their spots by defeating Nemiga and Phoenix in their final matches, respectively.

WePlay! Forge of Masters will be played over three days, November 15-17, using a DreamHack Open-like format featuring a BO1-BO3 GSL group stage followed by single-elimination BO3 playoffs. The $100,000 prize pool will be distributed the following way:

5-6. $3,000
7-8. $2,000
