ANDROID in doubt for ESL Pro League Americas stage two

Bradley "⁠ANDROID⁠" Fodor has revealed that he will likely not attend the second group stage of ESL Pro League with Envy as a result of visa issues.

The 25-year-old Canadian confirmed that, at the very least, he will be unable to arrive in time for the team's opening matchup against ATK, leaving the team to field coach Zachary "⁠Eley⁠" Stauffer in his stead.

Although a small chance remains for ANDROID to arrive in time for day two, a swift resolution remains unlikely, leaving Envy to gearing up to use Eley for the remainder of the tournament. The coach last stepped in for a sick Noah "⁠Nifty⁠" Francis at IEM Chicago 2019, helping the team notch a win over MIBR on Inferno before falling in a reverse-sweep to be eliminated.

ANDROID will likely be unable to attend the second EPL stage with Envy

The announcement is the latest blow to Group A on the Americas side of ESL Pro League. Complexity found themselves ruled out of attendance following the additions of Valentin "⁠poizon⁠" Vasilev and Kristian "⁠k0nfig⁠" Wienecke earlier in the week, with the players having already played for OpTic and Windigo in the current season.

The move also further adds to an imbalance of strong teams in the second stage as the No. 6 and No. 10 teams in the world, 100 Thieves and FURIA, reside in Group B, while the highest ranked side in Group A is Envy at No.29.

With ANDROID absent, Envy will field the following roster:

We can travel to the US without a visa for tourism. While I don't know exactly how it works, I would assume that Android probably needs a work visa since he's competing for a professional team. I'm still pretty surprised that this even happened to him, though

Envy is based in the US so from my understanding, he needs a visa to work for a US based company while he is there. Not 100% certain though.

They get minor tourists visas on obligation that last for like a week but his is deep travel for business and its considered athletic so he needs an athletic Visa (though no clue why he didnt get a P-1 over the player break, Canadians basically get that for free)
