DreamHack Open Atlanta fantasy recap; CS:GO Asia Championships fantasy live
DreamHack Open Atlanta has ended and our fantasy game with it. Up next is CS:GO Asia Championships which is about to kick off for its second edition in Shanghai, China, this time around with a fantasy game to go with it.
Before we jump into the CS:GO Asia Championships fantasy, let's take a second to recap what happened in DreamHack Open Atlanta, the first DreamHack Open to have a fantasy game to go with it.

HEROIC lifted the trophy in Atlanta and it is, therefore, no surprise that three of their players are in our ideal Money Draft lineup, namely Casper "cadiaN" Møller, Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, and Johannes "b0RUP" Borup. Florian "syrsoN" Rische, from Sprout, also made an appearance, having been the German team's top performer in their run to the final, while CR4ZY's aimer Rokas "EspiranTo" Milasauskas rounded out the team.
The winners of DreamHack Open Atlanta's HLTV League are:
1.
UFuckingIdiotKillSomeone (865) - $100
2.Smeagoll (848) - $50
3.bilal7004 (848) - $25
Important: Winners will be contacted via the email they have in their HLTV account about redeeming their rewards.
The three top players in our league had the same team, with a core of four HEROIC players that consisted of the aforementioned three top performers from the Danish side and their teammate Martin "stavn" Lund, joined by EspiranTo. Smeagoll and bilal7004 tied for second place in our leaderboard, with 848 points, and the former was picked at random to take the second prize, while our winner UFuckingIdiotKillSomeone had 50 boost points to help him hit the top of the leaderboard with 865 points.
cadiaN (MAIN AWP): 149 + 50 = 199
Snappi (LEADER): 144 + 50 = 194
EspiranTo (JUAN DEAGLE): 131 + 40 = 171
b0RUP (DEFENDER): 100 + 43 = 143
syrsoN (ENTRY FRAGGER): 106 + 36 = 142
Joining HEROIC's lineup in the top 10 (this time counted without roles), were the two previously mentioned players, EspiranTo (#3) and syrsoN (#6), who were joined by Michał "MICHU" Müller (#5), Nils "k1to" Gruhne (#8), and last but not least, Otto "ottoNd" Sihvo (#10).

After DreamHack Open Atlanta, it is now time for the CS:GO Champions Asia fantasy game, which is now live. Evil Geniuses players will be in high demand as the North American squad will be the only top 5 team in contention. The tournament won't be without contenders, however, as AVANGAR, MOUZ, ENCE, G2, and MIBR will all be hoping the North Americans slip up, while TYLOO and ViCi will hope for better showings than they had at IEM Beijing.
Users on HLTV will be able to pick the players they think will perform best to bring in the most points in their money or live draft leagues, and will be able to compete in the official HLTV x 1xBet League which will have prizes for the top three players.

The total prize pool for the HLTV x 1xBet League is $175, with the best performing users set to be rewarded according to the following distribution:
1. $100
2. $50
3. $25
The HLTV Fantasy game has two game modes: Live and Money draft. The former can only be played in private leagues, with a limited number of users per leagues, while the latter mode has no limit on the number of users, but restrains the players that can be picked with a budget. You can find out more about the Fantasy game on the event FAQ page.
Let us know in the bugs & improvements forum if you find any issues with the game, or have feedback on how to make it better.
