5POWER quartet join R-Stars; Savage retires
Four members of 5POWER have officially joined R-Stars, while Bin "Savage" Liu has opted to retire from professional Counter-Strike.
Lei "bottle" Mao, Peng "xiaosaGe" Song, Wei "shuadapai" Wang and Lifan "Viva" Ran have all transferred to the R-Stars organisation, known for their competitive PUBG presence. Chinese veteran Savage, who was also part of 5POWER, has made the decision to retire, with Zhen "HZ" Huang, formerly of TYLOO, CyberZen and OneThree, taking the last spot in the starting line-up.
Savage concludes a long career in competitive Counter-Strike that goes back to 1.6, in which he notably represented wNv Teamwork and TYLOO. After initially refusing to play CS:GO, he embraced the game in 2014 and went on to play for teams like CyberZen, ViCi and Panda before joining 5POWER, with whom he would attend the most recent Asia Minor.

In a post on social network Weibo, Savage thanked all those who accompanied him throughout his career and revealed his plans to focus on streaming.
R-Stars will be taking part in the Chinese qualifier for the Champions Cup, kicking off on Friday, with one spot at the $300,000 tournament in Malta on the line.
The brand new R-Stars roster is:
Lei "bottle" Mao
Peng "xiaosaGe" Song
Wei "shuadapai" Wang
Lifan "Viva" Ran
Zhen "HZ" Huang
