TYLOO defeat MIBR to top Group A in Shanghai
TYLOO have earned themselves a spot in the semi-finals of the CS:GO Asia Championships following a 2-0 win over MIBR in the Group A winners' match.
WingHei "Freeman" Cheung made his presence on the server known immediately, opening up TYLOO's pick of Mirage with a pistol ace on the offense. A quad kill and 1vs3 clutch from Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand allowed the Chinese side up to a 3-0 lead, at which point MIBR got their name on the board with two rounds of their own. Left with just pistols in their hands, TYLOO were able to answer back as Freeman found four frags, with further multi-kills rounds from BnTeT and HaoWen "somebody" Xu helping their team to a six-round spree. The Brazilian side just managed to scrape together two rounds at the end of the half, one coming off the back of a 1vs4 clutch from Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles, leaving TYLOO to take an 11-4 lead at the side swap.

It was BnTeT's turn to wreak havoc in a pistol round as he took down four MIBR players to enable a retake for TYLOO, further adding to their lead. Two entry frags with a Krieg by Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe in the ensuing round gave MIBR a crucial opening back into the map, a momentum shift that they immediately capitalized upon to win seven of the ensuing eight rounds. With just one round separating the two teams and TYLOO on a half-buy, a tied scoreline seemed to be on the horizon; however, two opening Scout headshots from BnTeT allowed YuLun "Summer" Cai to retrieve an AWP, which he used to clutch a crucial 1vs3 and keep TYLOO ahead. Three frags from BnTeT in the next round shut down any hopes of a comeback for MIBR, leaving TYLOO to clean things up for a 16-12 victory.
MIBR swiftly stabilized from their map one loss as they kicked off their offensive effort on Train by securing the first five rounds, looking to add to their undefeated streak on Train with their current lineup. TYLOO's first round win was left by the wayside as a triple from LUCAS1 helped MIBR add another two to their tally, leading to a 7-1 lead for Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and company. Three AWP kills from somebody kept TYLOO in the running as they clawed back an additional five rounds, but it was MIBR who remained ahead 9-6 thanks to a solid early effort.
TYLOO claimed their T pistol, earning their third of the series, and answered MIBR's force-buy win with one of their own to remain in control. Seven of the next eight rounds went TYLOO's way, thanks in part to a 1vs2 clutch and double entry in the ensuing round from BnTeT. FalleN and kNgV-'s AWPs were the only comfort that MIBR had, helping them take one more round, but TYLOO were able to close things out with two final rounds to net a second 16-12 map win.
