DreamHack Open Winter on-air team announced

The talent lineup for the upcoming DreamHack Open stop has been revealed, with Mathieu "⁠Maniac⁠" Quiquerez and Jacob "⁠Pimp⁠" Winneche being on the list.

DreamHack Open Winter 2019 will take place on November 29 - December 1, with eight teams in the competition including FURIA, CR4ZY, and FORZE.

Pimp will switch from analysis to casting

To bring the action and break down the plays over the course of the three-day event, DreamHack has hired a seven-person team. Leading the analyst desk will be Dan Gaskin, doing his first DreamHack event, while Christine "⁠potter⁠" Chi and Maniac will provide the analysis.

On the casting side, one pairing will be a well established one — Harry and Hugo —, while the other will see Pimp shift to the casting chair and combine with Conner "⁠Scrawny⁠" Girvan.

As soon i saw this i knew pimp was gonna be there. Expected Bleh to be in there too. Dreamhack always has the worst talents. Dreamhack is the only tournaments which picks the three worst desk-hosts and put them together in form of potter, pimp and bleh, but Maniac has to carry the desk for this one. I like him. Why doesnt scrawny get his casting partner launders. Is he going to solocast? Not a fan of harry & hugo. Id take scrawny and launders over them any day.

Yeah i didn't even read the announcement and just thought it was weird they only had 3 casters. I rather have pimp on the desk, that way you can still mute the desk segment and don't think more about him. Now he will be in 50% of the matches, so have to mute commentary as well. RIP.

Yeah I won't be able to handle it either. Tbh most of the not tier 1 analysts are utter trash but he is just Insta mute every time.

Pimp is not that bad at casting for two reasons, he's a good player and understand the intricacies and secondly he's a bad analyst and we don't want him to do that. But Pimp should get his head out of his ass really..

wtf pimp casting. I didn't even read the announcement. Until now you could escape PIMP by just muting the desk segment, now you have to mute the casters as well. SAD Are dreamhack to cheap to bring in real casters? No moses, anders, sado, etc.
