Vincent "⁠Brehze⁠" Cayonte will be unable to attend the second day of EPICENTER due to a visa issue, which will see HellRaisers' Igor "⁠crush⁠" Shevchenko stand in for the Evil Geniuses star.

Evil Geniuses' coach, Chet "⁠Chet⁠" Singh, announced the last-minute replacement on Twitter, adding that Brehze's visa issue will be resolved quickly in a follow-up Tweet.

crush will step in for the North American side in at least their first match of the Russian tournament, versus FORZE on Wednesday at 11:00 .

Brehze's arrival to Moscow will be delayed until Thursday

Should EG win the opening clash, the Ukrainian will also play in Group B's winners' match against Virtus.pro or MOUZ later that day, as Brehze is set to arrive on Thursday, Chet confirmed to HLTV.org.

it happens in a LOT of tournaments all over the world are the tournaments scheduled too close together? are the teams not preparing well enough? are the applications taking too long? imo it seems like the tournaments are scheduled too close together and teams simply don't have enough time to make any application changes/edits if necessary, so the visa gets denied and they are screwed. if this is the case, i think tournament organizers need to assess how they schedule their events so players have enough time to get this stuff done esports are still a relatively new industry and this is always going to be a big part of international competition. hopefully they can figure something out so players aren't left out for something as dumb as visa issues....

Except for poor woxic since he is a threat to National Security. but for real, visa problems mainly happen where there aren't many tournaments. most tournaments happen in the EU and the US so those are must-have visas, probably 10-year ones if that's an option. But for the countries where there are fewer tournaments, they have to get them in short notice which i would think is the problem.
