Subroza out of Cloud9

Yassine "⁠Subroza⁠" Taoufik is no longer tied to Cloud9, the player confirmed to Dust2.us and HLTV.org.

Having replaced the benched Tyson "⁠TenZ⁠" Ngo in the lineup, the Canadian played with the North American squad for a brief period at the end of October and beginning of November in a stand-in capacity, placing last in the fourth week of North American ECS and at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen.

Subroza's status with the organization had been unclear ever since the majority of the team left Cloud9 to create a new roster under Gen.G earlier in December, with the 22-year-old later revealing on Twitter that the team had never practiced.

Subroza is a free agent

More information on the remainder of the roster has been released in the meantime, as Oscar "⁠mixwell⁠" Cañellas has been allowed to seek another team, while TenZ will remain with the organization mainly as a content creator.

Nothing has been said on the topic of James "⁠JamezIRL⁠" Macaulay's future, who joined Cloud9 as the coach at the beginning of July alongside the aforementioned duo, Damian "⁠daps⁠" Steele, and Kenneth "⁠koosta⁠" Suen.

The future of the North American organization is heavily tied with the current ATK roster, which has been on Cloud9's radar since they lost the main core of the previous lineup.
